Our customers need invoices in Arabic. Sometimes the text appears in the wrong direction or the font looks wrong. How do we fix this?

Odoo supports Arabic and right-to-left layouts. Most problems come from the language settings of the customer or the report font.

Checklist

  • Activate Arabic in Settings and set the customer language to Arabic so their documents print in Arabic.
  • Translate product names, payment terms and report labels so the whole document is in one language.
  • Use a font that supports Arabic glyphs well and configure it in the document layout.
  • If you need bilingual invoices, adapt the report template to show both languages side by side.

Always test the printed PDF, not only the screen preview, because the PDF engine applies the final layout.
