Odoo supports multiple currencies natively. Each company has a main currency, and any invoice, bill, payment or bank journal can use another currency.

• Activate the currencies you need and keep rates updated, either manually or through automatic rate providers.
• Every foreign-currency entry stores both the original amount and its value in company currency at the document date.
• When a payment is reconciled at a different rate, Odoo posts the exchange gain or loss automatically to the accounts you configure.
• Unrealized gains and losses can be reviewed with the currency revaluation tools in Accounting.

If your market uses an official rate and a market rate, decide with your accountant which one Odoo should record, and document that policy before going live.
