Our group has companies in Egypt and Iraq. Can we run them in one Odoo system with separate accounts and shared products?

Yes. Odoo is multi-company: one database can hold several companies, each with its own currency, chart of accounts, taxes and fiscal localization.

What you can do

  • Give users access to one or more companies and switch between them from the top bar.
  • Share or separate products, customers and vendors depending on your policy.
  • Automate inter-company sales and purchases so an order in one company creates the matching document in the other.
  • Produce consolidated views while keeping each company's legal books separate.

Plan record rules and default company settings early; most multi-company issues come from records created in the wrong company.
